Arrest for ATM theft

A MAN was arrested yesterday for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from two ATMs at Westfield, Belconnen.

The 23-year-old man from Lyneham, was allegedly posing as a technician on Friday to gain access to the ATMs.

He was arrested yesterday afternoon in Braddon and charged with two counts of theft and two counts of unauthorised access with intent to commit a serious offence.
