Beanie and gone

WITH street art so often the victim of cruelty and vandalism, it was heartwarming for snapper SILAS BROWN to see, one recent cold morning, that some kind soul had gone to the trouble to pop a warm beanie on the head of the little fellow half way up the stairs in the much-abused piece in Petrie Plaza.
The next time he passed, alas, it had gone. The beanie, not the little guy.
