Beth n Ben top the charts

Canberra blues, roots and reggae act Beth n Ben.

CANBERRA blues, roots and reggae act Beth n Ben, have just completed the recording of their second EP “Economy Class” at Monstereo Studios in Sydney.

Known for their fusion of genres and tongue-in-cheek writing style, they play as a duo or with a full band.

Beth n Ben have toured up and down the Eastern Coast of Australia notching up over 90 shows, including a  support set for Chris Isaak as part of the Enlighten Festival and a mainstage set at the Love Jam Festival in Bondi.

Beth n Ben’s track “Little Lady” from “Boarding Pass” has enjoyed success on Triple J’s Unearthed Roots Chart, with two weeks at number one, seven weeks in the top five, 10 weeks in the top 10, and four and a half months in the top 25.

“Back of the Line” from the new cd has hit number five on the roots chart in the first week.

The official “vintage themed” EP launch will be held at the White Eagle Polish Club, 38 David Street, Turner from 3-7pm this Sunday October 16 featuring Cherie Kotek, Clever Sunday, and other performers. Tickets at the door.
