Building blaze at ANU

A FIRE has broken out in the Birch building at the ANU on Science Road, Acton.

According to the ACT Fire and Rescue, the fire is believed to have started from two experiments in a fume cupboard.

The building suffered heavy smoke logging and people were evacuated from the building.

Fire fighters are still fighting the blaze. No one has been injured.
