CRAWFORD Street in Queanbeyan will be closed from Thursday October 27 for vital work on the new lifestyle precinct.
Crawford Street, between Monaro and Morisset Streets, will be closed off to traffic however pedestrians will have access to businesses from the temporary car park in Fallick Lane. The work will include a new road surface on the eastern side of the street.
The road will be closed for about four weeks.
Once complete, the Crawford Street lifestyle precinct will include alfresco dining and widened footpaths, upgrading the street into a pedestrian-friendly area.
