The face fit of a man who is believed to have robbed a 45-year-old man in Glebe Park in September

POLICE released today the face-fit of a man believed to be responsible for the assault and robbery of a 45-year-old man in Glebe Park in September.

The incident happened at about 7pm on Friday, September 23, when the 45-year-old man was walking through Glebe Park. In the park four young men approached him and demanded his wallet.

The man refused and attempted to walk around the group. The group attacked the man and stole his key wallet and back pack containing a SLR camera with zoom lens.

Police said a witness approached the man to offer help and was also threatened by the group before they left the park.

The man depicted in the face-fit is described as Caucasian in appearance, between 16 to 23 years of age, approximately 185cm (6’1”) tall with a slim build and was wearing a light coloured jumper.

He was in the company of three men described as aged in their teens.
