MORE than 540 general practice educators, supervisors, registrars, junior doctors, medical students and training providers from around the country will be in Canberra tomorrow for two days for the national General Practice Education and Training Convention.
“It is pleasing GPET is being held in Canberra this year and many local GPs will be presenting at and attending the Convention,” ACT Medicare local chair Dr Rashimi Sharma said.
One of the locally run workshops is by Dr Sharma with registered nurse Jenny Permezel who together will present a session on “Realising the potential of practice nurses as teachers of GP registrars”.
The national GPET Convention will be held from September 7 to 8 at the National Convention Centre. For more information, visit www.agpt.com.au
