Knife threat in liquor store

AN 18-year-old Dickson man attempted to rob the Dickson Liquor Store last night, by threatening the shop attendant with a knife.

Police allege the man entered the liquor store at about 8.15pm, where produced a knife and demanded money. The shop attendant refused and the alleged offender fled empty handed.

Police found the alleged offender at house in Dickson where he was arrested. The man will be charged with aggravated robbery with an offensive weapon.
