A 23-year-old Lyneham man has been arrested and charged for a series of alleged frauds committed in Canberra.

ACT Police allege that during the period of March to June this year, the man fraudulently withdrew large sums of cash after reconfiguring various ATMs across Canberra.

Police have said the man was arrested last night and taken to the ACT Watch House, charged with 13 counts of unauthorised modification of data to cause impairment, 12 counts of theft and one count of attempted theft. The man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
