NORTHFORK Chemicals has been named Queanbeyan Business of the Year.
More than 100 people attended the Queanbeyan Business Excellence Awards on Saturday night when Northfork Chemicals, which specialises in the manufacture of quality assured and value for money products in safe and environmentally aware way, picked up the top gong.
“We source GreenPower renewable energy for our manufacturing facility, and have recently introduced Sustainable Land Cleaning Solutions range to further highlight our commitment to caring for the environment,” Queanbeyan Mayor, Cr Tim Overall said.
“Northfork Chemicals is an outstanding business and I congratulate them on their success at the Queanbeyan Business Excellence Awards.”
Other award winners were: Retail, wholesale and distribution – Queanbeyan Chainsaws and Garden Equipment; Tourism, hospitality, events – Queanbeyan Riverside Tourist Park; Construction, manufacturing processing – chincivil Pty Ltd; Trades, professions and services – Parkhill Financial Group; Capital Region BEC microbusiness – Benedict House.
