Rock Eisteddfod winners

ST. PETER’S Catholic College and Daramalan College both won a swag of awards on Friday night at the Canberra Rock Eisteddfod Challenge.

St Peter’s Catholic College won 11 awards of excellence for their piece ‘F.E.A.R’ while Daramalan College won seven awards for their piece ‘What’s in a name?’.

Arawang Primary School, Fadden Primary School, St. Benedict’s Primary School and Telopea Park School won awards in the J Rock division.

“Rock Eisteddfod Challenge and J Rock help to deliver crucial health messages to the youth of Australia,” event manager Alice Larmer said.

“The talent I saw in Canberra on Friday was incredible and all the students involved were amazing.”
