Servo robbed at syringepoint

A MAN armed with a syringe robbed a Dickson petrol station late this morning of cash.

At around 11.30am, the man entered the Woolworths petrol station on Dickson Place and threatened and demanded cash from the employee behind the front counter.

The man left the petrol station on foot with cash and was last seen heading towards the Dickson Tradies underground car park. Police said no one was injured during the aggravated robbery.

The man was described as Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180 cm (5’11”) tall, aged in his mid-20s with a slim build, wearing a dark-coloured jumper and jeans.

Police are keen to speak to a number of witnesses believed to have been inside the petrol station at the time of the robbery.

Anyone who witnessed the robbery or saw the man described above are urged to call Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000 or visit www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
