Spanner attack at servo

A WOMAN was attacked by a man armed with a large spanner on Wednesday as she was putting petrol in her car at the BP Service Station in Kingston.

At about 6pm the man struck the woman to the ground and continuously attacked her. She was able to flee to the service station however the man followed. He left shortly after.

Anyone at the service station or driving along Canberra Avenue who witnessed the crime are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or visit act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
