Super coffee, smiling staff

The city is bursting with funky coffee shops these days and anyone who says you can’t get a great cup of coffee in Canberra needs to have their head examined (and that includes reviewers from interstate).

Tonic espresso, corner Bunda and Mort Streets, is one little hot spot to visit for a caffeine hit. They don’t serve breakfast or lunch, but cute cakes and a yummy-looking, fudgy-type brownie. Our coffee was super, the staff full of smiles and the mural featuring flying pigs delightful.

We sat outside on a large wooden communal table enjoying the beautiful weather and a beautiful coffee.
