CANBERRA Youth Theatre is calling all its alumni from the last 40 years.
In 2012 the company will celebrate 40 years as the ACT’s main youth theatre company, with a record of more than 10,000 young people who have participated in its many productions and workshops.
Many alumni are now sending their young kids to CYT and they’re kicking off the search for past members by inviting all alumni and the general public to an event in October, The Arts Trivia Extravaganza.
TriviARTS – The Arts Trivia Extravaganza is a fundraising event, bringing live performance into the trivia arena, while testing general knowledge in the areas of theatre, film, music, visual arts and dance.
They’ve occupied the C-Block Theatre in Gorman House Arts Centre for almost 30 years and now CYT has decided it needs a facelift. “TriviARTS” will help in making their renovation dreams come true.
Former members are especially welcome to TriviARTS, at the Italo-Australian Club, Cnr National Cct and Franklin St, Forrest at 7pm on October 28. Individual tickets $22, table of ten $200.
