FORESHORE festival goers can dress to impress and help a good cause at the very first Vinnies Beauty Bar.
For a gold coin donation, punters can drop into the beauty bar, get a hair and make-up fix, buy vintage accessories and get expert fashion tips from Canberra stylist Jenny Kozlow.
There will also be a collection of fancy dress costumes and a photo booth for special snaps for a gold coin donation.
All the money raised will be going towards the programs and services run by Vinnies in the Canberra region. Services include the emergency call centre, which in the past year answered more than 12,000 calls from people in Canberra and Queanbeyan on food and financial assistance, the family services refuge for families who are homeless and Samaritan House, the only men’s refuge in Canberra and Queanbeyan.
