WE know readers won’t be able to get along to this, but we thought you should see the invitation for the National Gallery of Australia’s launch of the “Toulouse-Lautrec: Paris & the Moulin Rouge Pop-Up Shop” in Darlinghurst this evening.
With staffer Siobhan Ion now designated “Tourism and Online Marketing Coordinator”, the shop is a new venture for the NGA, which, having launched the exhibition in Chandon style the other night, now needs to keep the numbers up over the long, hot summer season.
Visitors to the shop at 167 Oxford Street Darlinghurst will be able to buy NGA exhibition tickets, “inspired Christmas treat merchandise”, gift vouchers and, mysteriously, “a few Moulin Rouge surprises”.
Who can be trusted?
In a world of spin and confusion, there’s never been a more important time to support independent journalism in Canberra.
If you trust our work online and want to enforce the power of independent voices, I invite you to make a small contribution.
Every dollar of support is invested back into our journalism to help keep citynews.com.au strong and free.
