Angelina returns for an audition

ANGELINA Ballerina returned to the Canberra Theatre today to open her show “Angelina Ballerina’s Big Audition”.

The children’s production, performed by dancers from the Royal New Zealand Ballet to a recorded arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s music, is based on the much-loved children’s books by Helen Craig and Katherine Holabird.

It’s choreographed by the English National Ballet’s Antony Dowson with costumes, based on the original Angelina Ballerina drawings, by Wizzy Shawyer and set designs from Al Riches.

Angelina first came to Canberra in December 2009 with “Angelina’s Star Performance”.
