Armed gang attack Nicholls home

A GANG of men armed with baseball bats, metal poles and a sword smashed their way though a front window of a Nicholls home last night.

About 10.30pm, two men were in their home when a male acquaintance arrived with a group of men. The group broke through a front window and the two men fled out the back door.

The two men ran accross Gundaroo Drive where it is believed that the group got out of a white Holden Commodore and attacked the two men. Both victims sustained only minor injuries.

A number of members of the public stopped their vehicles on Gundaroo drive to assist the two men.

Witnesses are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or visit www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
