Boundless art and flowers at Tuggeranong

“BEYOND Boundaries” is an exhibition opening at Tuggeranong Arts Centre on Thursday at 6pm by the Encuentro group of artists,  featuring paintings, photography, ceramics and installation by Chun-chiang Shi,  Gay Santiago, Marlene Lux,  Oscar del Pozo and Celia Gallardo.

Also, as  part of TAC’s spring celebration FloriART, the centre is offering a series of free workshops, beginning on Saturday, August 4, 10.30am-1.30pm where flowers and plants are created with artist   Mariana del Castillo from recycled materials to install in the FloriART Garden on the centre’s lakefront lawns. Suitable for all ages. BYO PET bottles.

Then each Wednesday until September from 10am to noon, the YARN Flowers group meets at the centre to chat, knit, crochet, felt and fold flowers and plant materials for The Great Gallery Garden.

“Beyond Boundaries”, Tuggeranong Arts Centre, August 2-18; weekdays, 9am-5pm and weekends 1pm-4pm.
