Caught with stolen car, plates and credit card

A 26-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today after being caught driving a stolen car.

The man was seen driving the stolen blue Honda HRV station wagon into a car park on Antis Street, Phillip. The car, stolen from the ANU in January, also had stolen number plates.

When police caught the alleged offender, he was carrying a credit card in someone else’s name.

Police will allege the credit card was stolen from a car about an hour before the man’s arrest.
