Chef hats off to winning Aubergine!

AUBERGINE Restaurant at Griffith has been awarded the Regional Restaurant of the Year, Regional Wine List of the Year and retains its two chef hats rating in the 2013 “Sydney Morning Herald’s” 2013 “Good Food Guide”

It is the second consecutive year the restaurant has been awarded a two chef hats rating by the guide. it is also the first restaurant to win the two other awards in the same year.

Co-editor Terry Durack commented that: “Aubergine is setting Canberra alight at the moment… it’s one of the real reasons that Canberra is starting to actually resurge again as a food power in the regional areas, and I think it’s a very worthy winner.”

Aubergine owners, Andrea and Ben Willis, said: “We’ve worked hard over the past four years to create the sort of restaurant we ourselves love to dine in, and it’s wonderful to know that other people love it, too.”
