Fundraiser at glorious Strathnairn

WORKS in many media will be on show from Friday in Strathnairn’s annual members’ exhibition, which will showcase the talent and creativity of the arts community out at glorious Strathnairn Homestead on the edge of Holt.

A belated official opening will be performed by Peter Haynes, UC art collection curator, on Saturday December 8, at 11.30am, when Strathnairn’s deliciously effective fundraiser, “Soup and Bowl,” will run from 12 to 2.30pm.

Each year Strathnairn Artists make bowls which are sold with a choice of delicious soups. This annual fundraiser is held in conjunction with the opening of the Members’ Exhibition, a great opportunity to acquire some beautiful handmade pieces and support Strathnairn at the same time.

10am to 4.30pm,90 Stockdill Drive, Holt, Friday to Sunday 10am to 4.30 pm.
