Josh says seeing those who are unwell and those who help them creates an inspiring environment.

“We see sick people all the time and shaving our heads to raise funds was our way of banding together to show we care,” says Josh.

“We just wanted to make our own contribution to a good cause in our own way,” said Josh.

Genevieve Begbie and Jennifer Northey, nurses from the emergency department, were recruited during their coffee breaks to perform the honour of shaving the lads’ locks.

The group raised more than $2000 from patients, visitors and staff .
