QUEENSLAND’S husband & wife duo Hat Fitz & Cara are winning considerable critical attention with “Wiley Ways,” their second album together.
They’re festival favourites and Hat Fitz has performed 18 straight appearances at Byron’s Blues Fest.
Samuel J. Fell of “Australian Guitar” says, “With ‘Wiley Ways,’ Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson have crafted a genuine a blues record as you can hope to find in this day and age – simple, powerful, full of the inherent realism we’ve come to expect from these two, a stellar effort and the Irish Times enthuses, that they are “something else and something special.”
They will be bringing their old-time ‘hill country blues’ to Canberra with a show at The Keller tomorrow.
Hat Fitz & Cara, at the Harmonie German Club, 49 Jerrabomberra Avenue, Narrabundah 8pm, Thursday October 25, bookings to 6295 9853 or just turn up. Tickets are $20.
