Jed Rowe Band fronts up second album

By Tamara Junor

TO celebrate their second album release, “The Ember and the Afterglow”, The Jed Rowe Band will be touring around Australia, starting with Canberra at The Front Cafe in Lyneham.

Produced by Jeff Lang, this album was recorded in just seven days. Musicians such as Liz Stringer and Suzannah Espie lent their talents to the tracks.

The Jed Rowe Band, best known for their 2009 debut “Midnight Sun”, mixed different genres such as rock, blues and folk  to make the album.

They will be performing at The Front Cafe on Thursday June 28, with support from Alice Cottee. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door, from 7.30pm.
