Jogger sexually assaulted in Holt

POLICE are looking for three men following an alleged sexual assault on a 16-year-old girl who was running along Spofforth Street in Holt at about 5.30pm yesterday, listening to music through earphones, when she was grabbed from behind and dragged into a car.

The Adult Sexual Assault Team says that after the girl was assaulted by one of the males, she was driven to a car park near the Kippax playing fields and released.

The girl notified her partner and guardian who called the  police.

Police are calling for witnesses who may have seen a four-door, blue, Ford Falcon sedan, driving in the vicinity at the time.

The three males involved were described as Caucasian, 18-25-years-old with Australian accents. One is described as having a large build and blue/green eyes and the driver was described as having a husky voice with dark hair.

Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the incident should call 1800 333000 or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
