Knife pulled in Kingston fight

A MAN was arrested today after he allegedly pulled a knife on another man.

About midday, police received a report of an altercation on Giles Street, Kingston.

Police said the victim was at the ATM outside the IGA when the alleged offender approached and an altercation between the two took place with the alleged offender producing a knife.

Police said the victim defended himself and punched the alleged offender in the face.

The alleged offender fled in a blue Ford Laser however, police found him soon after in a nearby suburb where he was arrested.

Police sealed off part of the area on Giles Street to investigate the incident.

The alleged offender may face a charge of Possess Offensive Weapon with Intent and a number of traffic offences.
