“Lady Julia” takes the stage

JULIA Morris isn’t known as “Lady Julia” because she is particularly ladylike – it’s more to do with the fact that her husband, Dan Thomas, bought her a mansion back in The Old Country, and well, to most of us that suggests the upper classes.

Morris, one of the country’s best-known TV comedians, perhaps best known as one of the stars of the series “Full Frontal.”

She was a contestant on the 2011 series of “Celebrity Apprentice Australia,” and Triumphed, beating teammate Jason Coleman, model Jesinta Campbell and AFL star Shane Crawford.

Morris will be performing at Canberra Theatre Centre tomorrow night.

The title of her show, “No Judgement,” indicates a new determination not to judge other people. But it’s not too serious and is described as “a very funny evening of stories and songs about our daily frustrations and how not to kill someone.”

That could even be useful.

Julia Morris at The Playhouse, Thursday,  November 1, bookings to 6275 2700 or www.canberratheatrecentre.com.au
