Man robs 7-Eleven in Holt

THE 7-Eleven in Holt was robbed last night by a man armed with a knife.

About 11.30pm the man entered the store at the Kippax shops. CCTV footage shows him approaching staff members and threatening them with a knife, demanding they give him cash from the till.

The man placed a blue bag on the counter and staff complied with the request. Police said the offender left the store and is believed to have fled in the direction of Pizza Hut.

The man is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 173cm (5’8”) tall and having a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jumper with Puma written in large white print on the front and had the hood pulled over his head. He had black tracksuit pants on and had a white cloth covering his face.

Witnesses should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
