NATIONAL law firm Minter Ellison’s Canberra office has been recognised in the “Oscars” of legal experts with eight of its Canberra-based lawyers ranked by “Best Lawyers 2012 for Government”.
Local managing partner Paul McGinness said Minters scored more practitioners in the list than any other of the law firms operating in Canberra.
“[The Best Lawyer results] demonstrate the depth and breadth of talent in our Canberra office. Having 12 of our Canberra lawyers nominated in 17 categories highlights our ability to tackle those complex, sensitive projects for government right where the advice is needed,” he said.
Minter Ellison’s Canberra lawyers were recognised in categories of government, alternative dispute resolution, litigation, transportation, corporate governance, insurance and medical negligence.
“Also, we were pleased to see first-time nominations for leading Canberra-based partners Andrew Gill and Fabio Foir in the government category,” Mr McGinness said.
