Rain won’t stop Ballet in the Park

DESPITE the rain, the show will go on for “Telstra Ballet in the Park” tonight at Commonwealth Park.

Performed by The Australian Ballet, the show is scheduled to start at 7pm at Stage 88. Organisers say they will continue to monitor the weather conditions throughout the rest of the afternoon.

“Telstra Ballet in the Park” will include excerpts of “La Favorita”, “Don Quixote”, “Giselle”, “The Nutcracker”, “Le Corsaire” and “Molto Vivace” plus a pas de trois from Graeme Murphy’s 2002 masterpiece “Swan Lake”.

“Telstra Ballet in the Park”, class on stage at 5pm, performance at 7pm on Friday, Stage 88, Commonwealth Park. Free. More information atcanberrafestival.com.au
