INVESTIGATIONS into a suspected murder are underway after police found an elderly man dead in a Red Hill home yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to the house on Mugga Way at about 5.15pm following reports of an assault.
As they entered the premises, they found the man dead in the dining room with a weapon lying nearby.
A middle-aged male resident of the address is currently assisting police with enquiries.
