One Response to Socials: Ricky Stuart Foundation charity golf day

Hi Ricky. Thank you for sharing so openly about your family. Our oldest son (aged 7 years) has Autism, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, and ADHD, life is extremely challenging in all the ways that you have mentioned. We love our son and adore him so much, and understand the heartache and devastation that is felt when he is needing to be restrained for his own safety. My husband works in a government position and I work casually within a disability facility while finishing my social science Uni studies. There is a silence that is painful to endure within the professional industries, on this topic. I have a massive desire to be a Counsellor who specializes in the relationship between parents and special children like ours. My husband was so moved hearing you speak, and it would mean so much to hear from you or your AMAZING wife. Thank you. Blessings. Sally.
(I will cut and paste this message, in a few places in the hope that it just might get to you).
