Stunning photos of Alicia Coutts

APROS of nothing more than being stunning photos, Canberra snapper ANDREW CAMPBELL has kindly let citynews.com.au use some of his astonishingly creative photos of Australian Olympic and Commonwealth Games medley, butterfly and freestyle swimmer Alicia Coutts.

He modestly calles them “unusual” shots and that she was a “good sport”.

Alicia Coutts is photographed in a vintage 1970’s dress (from April’s Caravan, Canberra).

“She was given ‘styling’ advice by her friend and fellow Olympic swimmer Sally Foster (200m breast stroke) when she came up for air,” Andrews says.

The photograph shot through the observation window at the end of lane 8, at the AIS earlier this month, and lit by remote studio flash units through the underwater-side window.

“I really just want to see them used so please feel free to use them,” he exhorts us.

Our pleasure, Andrew.
