Walter resigns as music school head

HEAD of the School of Music, Prof Adrian Walter will be stepping down on Monday, June 11 to take on the position of director of the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.

“CityNews” first reported Prof Walter’s impending departure on May 14, with reports he would assume the Hong Kong position in September.

From June 11, Prof Howard Morphy, director of the Research School of Humanities and the Arts, will act as head of school until a replacement is found.
