Woman robbed at knife-point

A MAN has been charged for robbing a woman at knife-point last night at the Florey Shopping Centre.

About 7.30pm, the woman was leaving the Florey Shopping Centre when she was approached by a man who demanded cash armed with a knife.

Police say the woman handed the man a sum of cash after which he walked back towards the shopping centre.

Police found the alleged offender at the shopping centre where they arrested him.

The 28-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today where he will be charged with aggravated robbery and possess offensive weapon with intent.
