Women witnesses sought by police

The two potential witnesses police want to talk to.
POLICE  have released the security camera photo of two women who might have seen an offender leaving the Kingston Hotel bottle shop after an aggravated robbery on Saturday.

The alleged offender entered the bottle shop, on the corner of Giles and Oxley Streets, produced a knife and demanded the shop assistant hand over the contents of the till. He then left the bottle shop with cash, turning right towards Oxley Street.

He is described as Caucasian in appearance, 170cm tall (5’7”) with a medium build. He was wearing a red and black hooded top, blue tracksuit pants with two white stripes down the side and black sunglasses.

Police believe two women who entered the bottle shop soon after may be able to assist them in their investigations.

Witnesses are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
