“Performance Classes Off the Beaten Track” are the brainchild of  NIDA graduate and teacher, Olivia Simone, familiar from TV shows like  “All Saints”, “ Dance Academy” and “Love my Way”.
Simone  has also toured with the Bell Shakespeare Company.

Some of Australia’s top actors are coming to Girls Grammar to hold professional theatre and musical theatre workshops. The idea is to give young hopefuls the essential tools an actor needs, the chance to work on a film or TV script, and information on how to get work as a young actor.

It’s a commercial enterprise. With costs ranging from the bask workshop at $275 to $375 with a professional show reel and list of acting contacts and audition techniques thrown in or $440 to include a professional standard acting headshot.

The results of the workshop will be performed with an audience on the final day.

“OFF the Beaten Track” classes, Canberra Girls Grammar School, 10am – 5pm  December, 16, 17, 18, bookings to performanceclasses@gmail.com or 0408 466 006.
