The show follows solo shows in 2013 at Canberra Contemporary Art Space and Bondi Pavilion, and in it he explores youth and wonderment through expressive child-like marks, capturing the moments before a drawing becomes something recognisable. “I’m interested in visuals that allude to, but are never quite,” explains Chiswell.
