Bank fraud doesn’t pay for NSW man

A 35-year-old man from NSW will face ACT Magistrates Court this morning charged with 10 counts of theft and two counts of attempted theft in relation to bank fraud.

Police-afp-cops-0021-175x175He was arrested by police from the ACT, who will allege that he fraudulently took large amounts of cash from a bank account on multiple occasions.

The account was flagged, which allowed bank staff to notify police when the man attempted to withdraw more money yesterday afternoon.

Police will oppose bail in this morning’s hearing.
