Buyers snap up Lawson blocks

LAND in Belconnen’s newest suburb, Lawson, proved popular with buyers in the first round of auctions held yesterday.

Seventy-three blocks were bought by those keen to build their own home, with prices paid ranging from $326,000 for a 330 square metre block, up to $800,000 which was paid for a block of 1540 square metres.

The remaining 51 residential blocks in this release will be auctioned in sessions at 10am and 1pm tomorrow and the first four medium density sites in Lawson will be auctioned on December 11.

Lawson is located minutes from the Belconnen Town Centre and near Lake Ginninderra, the University of Canberra, Calvary Hospital and GIO Stadium.
