THE Musical Offering celebrates the season with its free Community Christmas concert foyer of the High Court of Australia on Sunday, December 15 from 2 – 3.30 pm.
Canberra singers Louise Page and (soprano) (mezzo-soprano) Christina Wilson will be joined by pianist Phillipa Candy, The Resonants choir and trumpeter Zach Raffan . The program ranges from well-loved to lesser-known seasonal music, including Morten Lauridsen’s “O Magnum Mysterium” Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ,“Pie Jesu” the “Sussex Carol”, “The Little Drummer Boy” and the audience singalong, “Ding, Dong Merrily on High”.
QL2 Dance is presented seven short works, each less than 10 minutes created and presented by Dean-Ryan Lincoln, Mackenzie Burn, Harry Morrissey, Paul Jackson, Robert Tinning, Chad McLachlan and Eliza Sanders, all young people studying dance at universities in Australia and New Zealand.
