Costumed fun for “Rocky Horror” fans

CULT cinema lovers will get a chance to do The Time Warp again later this month, at a party that Dendy Cinemas is hosting before a screening of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”.

The_Rocky_Horror_Picture_ShowThe classic horror-comedy-musical closes out Dendy’s second “cult classics” season for the year at 6pm on Monday, August 26, with the pre-screening party beginning at 5.30pm.

Partygoers will only be allowed in if they are dressed in costume but once inside, they’ll get a free drink “and more”, according to the organisers.

One 376-seat cinema’s worth of tickets has already sold out for the “Rocky Horror” screening but another has been made available, and more will be opened up if there is demand.

The lineup for this year’s third “cult classics” season will be released this week and tickets go on sale within the fortnight. “Expect to see retro sci-fi and beloved classics from the 70s, 80s and 90s,” we’re told.
