FIREFIGHTERS rescued a dog from a Watson balcony after a fire in the kitchen of the home.
Crews forced entry to the two storey unit on Ian Nicol street to find the stove alight.
There was no one home at the time of the fire and no food cooking on the stove.
The fire has been extinguished and crews are currently ventilating the unit.
