POLICE officers from the Clandestine Laboratory Team raided a home in Isaacs today with the assistance of firefighters, as part of a crackdown on illegal drugs in the capital.
The raid was enabled by a “drugs of dependence” search warrant but although police seized multiple items from they house, none were related to the production of drugs.
The seized items will be submitted for forensic analysis with charges to be considered depending on results, police say.
ACT Policing is currently running a three-month campaign targeting illicit drugs in the community, with rewards of up to $1000 on offer.
Police urge anyone with information on the manufacturing or dealing of illicit drugs to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or by going to act.crimestoppers.com.au.
