AN unusual exhibition showcasing the photographic work of Aart Groothuis is opening at Tuggeranong Arts Centre tomorrow.
An International Day of People with Disabilities and Canberra Centenary event, the exhibition, curated by Christine Cummings, follows rehearsals of the Women with Disabilities ACT’s “Strong Women: Circus Sisters Troupe”.
Minister for Disability and Women, Joy Burch, will be on hand for the occasion and all are welcome.
Funded through Disability ACT as an International Day of People with Disabilities (I-Day) event, the exhibition compliments the Troupe’s I-Day performance today, December 3, in Garema Place.
“Strong Women, Circus Sisters: A Photographic Exhibition,” at Tuggeranong Arts Centre 137 Reed Street (Corner of Reed St and Cowlishaw St), Greenway, until Tuesday December 17, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
