Gun fired at Gungahlin unit

A GUNGAHLIN woman awoke to a loud noise this morning and a bullet hole in her window, only a few days after a similar incident at a tattoo parlour on the same street.

policeCriminal Investigations detectives are investigating the shooting incident at a unit on Anthony Rolfe Avenue early this morning.

The resident called police at about 6am, after she was woken up by a loud noise and found the hole in her window.

Gungahlin police later confirmed the hole was caused by a bullet.

AFP Forensic Services are examining the unit this morning.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious overnight on Anthony Rolfe Avenue is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or by going to act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
