POLICE searches at two homes yesterday netted two guns, ammunition and drugs suspected of being heroin and steroids.
Officers seized a double-barrelled shotgun, a handgun and drugs suspected to be steroids from a house in Casey yesterday morning, as well as a laser pointer.
As part of the same investigation, police also searched a second house in Chisholm, where they seized heroin, ammunition and fireworks.
A 28-year-old man will appear before ACT Magistrates Court at a later date charged with offences relating to the confiscated guns and drugs.
A woman will also be summonsed in relation to the heroin found at the Chisholm house.
