A SHOTGUN hidden in the roof cavity of a Deakin home has been seized by detectives investigating reports of gunshots in Griffith yesterday.
Detectives executed a search warrant on the Deakin house around 2.30pm, where they located the shotgun and ammunition. Police also seized three mature cannabis plants from the house.
A 27-year-old man was taken into custody this afternoon. He will undergo a forensic procedure and will be interviewed later this evening by police.
Investigations are ongoing.
